Effective August 16, 2026. Vet Nation respects your privacy and collects only information reasonably needed to provide requested resources, member access, support, and partnership follow-up.
Information We Collect
Collected data can include name, email, phone, ZIP, military status or affiliation, resource interests, messages, member/access records, and site/device data collected by Wix or enabled providers.
Sensitive Information
Do not submit Social Security numbers, full birth dates, medical records, VA claim numbers, financial account data, or other information that is not reasonably necessary for your request.
How We Use Information
Information is used to provide requested resources and access, respond to inquiries, operate and secure the site, improve services, and comply with law.
How We Disclose Information
We do not sell personal information.
We do not share personal information with unaffiliated third parties for their own advertising or unrelated purposes without consent.
Disclosures are permitted to Wix and contracted service providers acting on Vet Nation’s instructions, at the person’s direction, when required for law or safety, or in a protected organizational transaction.
Data Minimization and Retention
Vet Nation collects only information reasonably necessary for the purposes described and retains it only as reasonably necessary, consistent with applicable law and organizational needs.
Security
Vet Nation uses reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information, while noting that no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
Your Privacy Rights
Applicable state privacy rights include the rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or qualifying profiling, use an authorized agent, appeal a denied request, and receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising rights.
Requests and Appeals
Vet Nation may need to verify identity before acting on a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where allowed. Privacy requests and appeals should be emailed to team@myvetnation.org.
Children’s Privacy
The site is not directed to children under 13 and Vet Nation does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If such information is discovered it will be deleted or de-identified.
Third-Party Resources
External veteran-resource or other third-party sites linked from Vet Nation are governed by their own privacy notices and practices, which users should review.
Changes to This Notice
Vet Nation may update this Privacy Notice from time to time and will post the updated effective date at the top of the page.
